Tomoe…?
-a shocked expression came over her on the subject, but soon recovered with a soft smile-
Tomoe is a very important part of Kenshin’s life, and therefore she is as mine. I’m very disappointed that I never had the pleasure of meeting her, because I would have really loved to get to know her and how she truly must have felt. After the incident with her brother Enishi, I slowly started to learn a little bit about her…she’s very admirable.
Even though I have said my prayers to Tomoe, I still make trips to Kyoto. Whether it may be with Kenshin or not, I always stop by to visit her grave as much as I can. It’s my only connection to her. Regardless, I hold her dear to me; close to my heart.
